SCHMIDT Aluproduktenfabrik was founded by Otto Schmidt in 1991. Our main line of business is the complete manufacturing of die cast aluminium components. In addition to the foundry, we also have a grinding and a polishing facility, as well as a machining centre in our manufacturing plant to meet the full range of customer needs.
We produce a large part of the materials necessary for manufacturing ourselves, and all of our work processes are done in-house entirely, without the involvement of subcontractors. This is how we are able to guarantee fast, punctual delivery and outstanding quality at affordable prices.
We are present in the furniture industry, and we also produce components for lighting technology, products for interior design and decoration, heavy duty shelf brackets, fence tips, as well as machinery parts and construction components. Our market covers all of Europe.
We place great emphasis on custom manufacturing. Based on the customer’s requirements, we prepare the design and 3D model of the product, then we manufacture the casting mould based on them. The finished piece is available to the customer within 2-3 weeks.
Every year, 350-400 tons of aluminium is cast and machined by us, amounting to nearly 600,000 components for furniture industry, interior design, lighting technology and machinery.
